Jack L. Braddy

Jack L. Braddy, 76, of Mt. Vernon, passed away at 2 a.m., Wednesday, May 6, 2020, at his home. He was born June 26, 1943, in Mt. Vernon, the son of Vernon and Wilma (Owens) Braddy. On Oct, 28, 1961, in Mt. Vernon, he married, Elsie Louise Beal, and she preceded him on Feb. 19, 2020. He retired from the railroad, and was an avid fisherman. Mr. Braddy is survived by three sons, Gregory Braddy, Vince Braddy and wife Karen, and Jarrod Braddy and wife Jade; three daughters, Cindy King, Stacey Reininger and husband Jason, and Julia Pate and husband Tim; Eighteen grandchildren; Fifteen great grandchildren; and two sisters, Connie Schwartz of Centralia, and Diana Pace of Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie; his parents; and one son, Darryl Braddy. In accordance with his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded, and a private family service will be held at a later date.
