James E. Greenwood

James E. Greenwood, 60, of Alma, passed away at 1:47 p.m. Monday, January 24, 2022, at SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital, in Centralia. He was born March 10, 1961, in Blue Island, Illinois, the son of Smith and Anna M. (Binkley) Greenwood. Mr. Greenwood was a graduate of Oak Forest Christian Academy, and was of the Baptist faith. He worked as a truck driver. He is survived by his son, Cody E. Greenwood; daughters, Lacey Turner and husband Robert, and Hope Warren; grandsons, Ezekiel Greenwood, Jack Turner, and Brandon Stanton; granddaughters, Emmaleigh Stanton and Aurora Stanton; brothers, Robert Greenwood, Richard Greenwood, and Ronald Greenwood; sister Nancy Linstead; and former wife, Tina Warren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Smith and Anna Greenwood; brothers Gene Greenwood and Gary Greenwood; nephew, Danny Greenwood; and brother-in-law, Joe Linstead. In accordance with his wishes, cremation rites for Mr. Greenwood have been accorded, and no public services will be held.
