Janice F. Ransbottom

Janice Rollinson Ransbottom, 72, of McLeansboro, passed away at 10:40 p.m., on Monday, March 14, 2022, at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro. She was born on November 1, 1949, in Mt Vernon, the daughter of John W. and Ina Bell (Upton) Rollinson. Janice was a homemaker and graduated from Field Grade School and Mt. Vernon High School. She was a member of Zion United Methodist Church, and was active in Lay Ministries. She is survived by two sons, Anthony and Selina Quillman, and their family, Elizabeth, Kyle, Ashley and Austin, and Erik, along with two great grandchildren, Elijah and Jay; and Jason and Tiffany Quillman and their family, Ashtyn, Drake, Landon, Dane, Will, Wyatt, and Aspen; brother, Bobby Rollinson and his family, Robert, Martha, Janie and Rachel; a sister Sandy and Steve Hicks and their family, Steve Jr. and Desiree, Lucas, Brent, Emma, Cathy, Calen, Caitlen and Avery. Janice was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, Robert and Ollie Rollinson, and Clyde and Myrtle Upton; brothers, Delbert Rollinson, Dean Rollinson, and Gary Rollinson, and niece, Sarah Rollinson. Funeral services for Janice will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, March 18, 2022, at the Osborn Funeral Home in Dix. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m., until the hour of service, on Friday, at the funeral home.
